PROGRAMS & General Services

The Boys & Girls Club Fontana provides a safe place to learn and grow. Over the past 21years, the Club has been providing youth with the necessary tools to become responsible citizens and tomorrow’s leaders. By utilizing a youth development strategy that provides youth with a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence, the self-esteem and self-reliance of youth are enhanced and an environment is created that helps youth achieve their full potential.

The Club provides diverse activities that meet the interest of all youths & their families.

Our program services are:

Character & Leadership Development: empowers youth to support and influence their club and community sustain meaningful relationships with others and develops a positive image.

Education & Career Development: enables youth to become proficient in basic education disciplines and apply learning to everyday situation.

Health & Life Skills: develops young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors and set goals.

The Arts: enables youth to develop their creativity and cultural awareness through knowledge and appreciation of crafts and creative writing.

Sports, Fitness & Recreation: develops fitness, positive use of leisure time appreciation for the environment and social skills.

Technology Center: youth develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes supporting safe use of technology.

TEEN Programs: The Boys and Girls Clubs of Fontana has taken a leadership role in addressing the needs of teens in today’s pressure-filled society. Teen Programs have been established and offer activities that directly focus on issues pertaining to today’s teenager. Trained professional staff administers programs and services, which help teens, cope with the issues they face on a daily basis.

Through the belief that today’s youth can make a positive contribution to society, the Boys & Girls Club has proven itself to be successful. With the continuation and expansion of programs and services today’s youth will have a brighter future.
